Hi, I’m Ariel! Yes, like the Little Mermaid. No, my parents did not do that on purpose, they just liked the name. And maybe their instincts were telling them something, because just like the Little Mermaid, I love seeking out new experiences and exploring the world (sometimes, to my parents’ chagrin).

I’m a ~Creative~ currently based in the Washington D.C. area, and going to school at American University for a degree in philosophy. However, most of what I do is unrelated to philosophy. I do try to bring the same critical eye to everything I do though, usually with good results.

So what do I do? I dance, I choreograph, I model, and I am branching out into the content creation sector. I also use my platform as the 2016 Miss Pacific Miss Asian American Pageant Queen to promote cross-cultural understanding between not only Asian Americans and the larger US population, but also within the different Asian American communities. This website is a part of that goal, since it wouldn’t be fair for me to try to get everyone to understand each other without letting others understand me.

Here, you’ll get a glimpse into all my interests, my work, and my mind. I hope that by sharing my life, you will be inspired to chase your own dreams and happiness, or at least make this little corner of the internet a place to relax and let your mind wander.
